We recently caught up with Przemyslaw ‘Misiek’ Mysiala who is a Light Heavyweight fighter fighting out of London Shootfighters. With a record of 17-9, he is fighting this Saturday on Fury MMA at the O2 in London.
His opponent was originally scheduled to be James Hurrell but this has now changed to John Gillies. Although Misiek is unhappy about the change of opponent at the last minute, he is happy to still be fighting.

John Gillies was last seen when he fought Neil Grove at heavy weight on UCMMA 34. John is a Kickboxer and fights out of the City of Liverpool Kickboxing Gym. Not known to many down in the South, but for the Grove fight, it certainly looked like it would be a great match-up but a few minutes into the fight there was a clash of shins, causing both fighters to bleed and ultimately the medics called the fight off and it was deemed a No Contest.

Misiek certainly has the MMA experience with 26 fights to his name with 17 wins, 16 in the first round. Gillies is as tough as they come and has a long list of KO’s on his record, mainly from kickboxing and boxing, so he will be more than ready to step up and get that win, but will Misiek’s MMA experience prove too much for the Kickboxer? Only time will tell.

Misiek is on a mission to win every fight and will ultimately be looking to become a champion in the near future for the 5th time in his professional career. He is focussed and ready to get another win, recently he fought  Lloyd Clarkson and needed only 52 seconds to defeat him by Armbar in Round 1.
You can see Misiek in action against Gillies this Saturday at Fury MMA at London’s Indigo2 (The Dome).
