Light Heavy Weight Future King: Here’s Magic

Mac

We would like to introduce you to Magic  Sasanowskie, a Light Heavyweight fighter who stands an almighty 6’8” tall!  He fights out of Masters MMA and is managed by Mogul  Management.  Big things are on the cards for Magic judging by his unbeaten amateur record and the fact he has just won his first Pro fight, going the distance and taking the Decision.

A man of few words, we caught up with Magic to find out a little about him in terms of his training, fight history and plans for the future.

“I originally got into MMA by training in BJJ but I always wanted to do something more so I started training in all areas of MMA”.

Training is intense for Magic as is the case for most fighters.

“A typical training week for me is training four times a week, twice a day.  In the   mornings I do Cardio and in the evenings I concentrate on Technique and Sparring.  Prior to a fight, I up my training to five days a week and work on Speed and Technique”.

Magic is coached by Przemek Mysiala and he has this to say about him.

“I look up to my coach and friend Przemek ‘Misiek’ Mysiala.  He has a great heart for fighting and a very professional approach to training”.

Looking at his past fights, as mentioned he has won all of his fights to date and having just made the pro debut, he tells us about the fight from his eyes.

“I was very excited and motivated to make my professional debut.  It was a very educational experience and I learned quite a few things from it that will definitely help me out in the future”.

In Magic’s amateur fights he has never gone past the first round but in the pro debut he took the win by decision, going the full three rounds.  I wondered if Magic was confident he had secured the win before the decision was announced and if it was hard going enduring the full three rounds of the fight.

“It is difficult to say exactly how I felt at the time as it is different during and after the fight.  The adrenaline is so high that it drives you through it to the finish.  But I am always confident and I was confident I had secured the win”.

Other than going the distance in his pro debut, all Magic’s previous fights have come by way of KO and in a combined time of 1 min 1 sec!  He obviously has the KO power and stand-up ability but looks at himself as a well-rounded fighter who is confident in all disciplines of MMA.

Looking to the future Magic has long term goals firmly set in his mind and a Management Company who believe in him 100%.

“I don’t have anyone I really want to fight but I know I would like to fight the very best and to train and fight for as long as I can.  I can only say I am so glad I was noticed and taken on by Mogul Management and I look forward to the future”.

We would like to thank Magic for taking the time out of his busy training schedule to share his thoughts with us.  He may be a man of few words but sometimes it is better to do the talking in the cage.  Magic would like to thank the following people.

“I would like to thank Sid of Mogul Management for believing in me and Misiek for his patience”.
