No one is more disappointed this morning than Przemyslaw ‘Misiek’ Mysiala. Due to fight on Fury MMA this Saturday, July 12th his original opponent was changed from James Hurrell to Jordan Patey and finally to John Gillies.
Misiek finished his weight cut which he said went smoothly with sauna’s and carb cutting helping. He was angry that the Hurrell fight was called off but pleased to have a replacement.
So late last night, he was feeling extremely low when he received a call from his Manager to tell him that Gillies has dropped out.
This leaves Misiek, as we go to press, with no opponent for Saturday. As we said, the weight cut was all done, the training and mental preparation was in the bag and he was feeling confident of obtaining the win by whatever means necessary.
Misiek is really upset and angry and says he cannot describe how he feels other than it being totally unprofessional.
Dan Movahedi of Fury was working into the night trying to match Misiek with a new opponent but at this time, it is looking like he won’t be fighting this Saturday. A sad day for Misiek and a sad day for his fans who were all looking forward to seeing him in action.
